Hyundai back to three cars for Australia, Dani Sordo benched

Hyundai has confirmed that Thierry Neuville, Hayden Paddon and Andreas Mikkelsen will compete at the WRC finale in Australia, with Dani Sordo sidelined. Hyundai entered 2017 with a line-up of Neuville, Paddon and Sordo, but recruited Mikkelsen for the most recent round in Spain, before signing him through to 2019. Paddon was benched for Spain but all four drivers will compete at the upcoming British round, before Sordo makes way for the Australia finale. Hyundai explained that logistical reasons are behind the decision to run a three-car team. “The complexity of logistics for Australia meant that we were not able to run a four-car entry,” explained Team Principal Michel Nandan....
